About Us

Croc Sauce was born at our family farm on the banks of the Crocodile River in South Africa, and in 2011 we brought the original recipe for Croc Sauce with us to Zimbabwe. Since then, while the recipe has been through some evolution, Pam and Blue Lindsay have continued to lovingly produce Croc Sauce in their home, selling across Zimbabwe.

In Zim we are known for our unique zing and distinctive balance of herbs and spices inspired by global tastes. Whether stocking up supplies on the way to Kariba, adding some oomph to a midweek meal or preparing a braai, every Zimbabwean knows that picking up a bottle of Croc Sauce means picking up a taste of home.

In 2016, Pam and Blue’s eldest son Daniel Lindsay moved to the UK, later followed by their younger son Craig Lindsay. They connected with other Zimbabweans across the country and found the resounding message from the diaspora here was clear – “we want Croc Sauce!”

The legacy of Croc Sauce quickly spread amongst friends, colleagues, and even strangers, and finally in August of 2024 in response to overwhelming demand we launched Croc Sauce UK.

Croc Sauce UK brings you four signature flavours from our home to your kitchen; Not So Hot, Lemon & Herb, Lemon & Garlic, and Hot N’ Spicy.

We are committed to crafting the same high-quality sauce made with simple, real ingredients to those who already know and love us, and to those who are yet to discover their new favourite sauce! We never include artificial colours, preservatives, or stabilisers and all our sauces are naturally vegetarian and vegan.

Due to the diaspora of the Zimbabwean people Croc Sauce is being enjoyed across the world. Launching our family business here in the UK, which has become home, has been incredible and we hope you will continue to “travel” with us on this wonderful journey!
