Croc Sauce's Countdown to Christmas Giveaway Terms and Conditions

BACKGROUND

These Terms and Conditions, together with any and all other documents referred to herein, set out the terms under which Croc Sauce’s Countdown to Christmas Giveaway will be subject. You are required to read these Terms and Conditions carefully and ensure that You understand and accept them before entering the Giveaway. If You do not agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, You will not be able to enter the Giveaway.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

DEFINITIONS

“We”, “Us”, “Our” means Croc Sauce UK, a company registered in England under Company Number 14592856

“You” means you or anybody who in Our reasonable opinion is acting with your authority or permission. “Your” shall be read accordingly.

“Our Website” refers to Crocsauceuk.com

“Giveaway” means the promotional event run by Croc Sauce UK open for entry from 09:00 GMT on the 20th of December and 21:00 GMT on the 24th of December.

“Croc Sauce’s Count Down to Christmas Entry Form”, “Form” means the form present on our Website between the Opening Date and the Closing Date which participants must fully complete and submit in order to enter the Giveaway.

“Opening Date” refers to the date on which, at the time specified in these Terms and Conditions, it will be possible to enter the Giveaway.

“Closing Date” refers to the date on which, after the time specified in these Terms and Conditions, it will no longer be possible to enter the Giveaway.

“Prize” refers to the goods specified in these term and conditions which are available for the winner of the Giveaway.

 

THE PROMOTER

1.      The promoter of the Giveaway is: Croc Sauce Ltd (company no. 14592856) whose registered office is at 32 Nursery Gardens, Butt Haw Close, Hoo, Rochester, ME3 9BN.

 

THE GIVEAWAY

2.      The title of the Giveaway is Croc Sauce’s Count Down to Christmas

 

ELIGABILITY

3.      The Giveaway is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Croc Sauce UK and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation of the Giveaway. In entering the Giveaway, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Giveaway prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Giveaway.

 

HOW TO ENTER

 

4.      There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter the Giveaway. In addition, there is no charge to register for use of the website. Any purchase of Croc Sauce products will not increase the likelihood of being selected to win the Giveaway.

 

5.      The Giveaway will run from 09:00 GMT on the 20th of December 2024 (the “Opening Date”) to 21:00 GMT on the 24th of December 2024 (the “Closing Date”).

 

6.      To enter the competition in compliance with these Terms and Conditions participants must fully complete and submit the “Croc Sauce’s Count Down to Christmas Entry Form” (the “Form”) on our Website (Croc Sauce UK) by no later than 21:00 GMT on the Closing Date. When submitting the entry form you may opt-out of receiving email correspondence from us, however as the winner will be notified via email providing consent is required for entry into the giveaway and opting-out will invalidate your entry.

 

7.      All forms submitted after the Closing Date will not be considered valid entries and will be automatically disqualified. Our Website will display a Confirmation Message upon successful submission of the Form.

 

8.      The Promoter will not accept responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason, this includes those which are lost, mislaid, damaged, or delayed, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

 

9.      You may only submit the “Croc Sauce’s Count Down to Christmas Entry Form” once. The Promoter will not accept or consider multiple Giveaway entries which have been submitted after the initial form submission. The Promoter will not accept Giveaway entries which are incomplete. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the giveaway.

 

10.   By entering this Giveaway, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

SELECTION

11.   Each valid entry will be entered into the Giveaway draw. The winner will be selected at random by an automated machine at the end of the Giveaway. The Promoter's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

 

12.   The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the Closing Date. The winner will only ever be contacted by Croc Sauce UK at info@crocsauce.com.

 

13.   The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner from the correct entries that were received before 21:00 GMT on the Closing Date.

 

14.   The name, address, and phone number of the winner must be provided to The Promoter if requested and will be shared to enable fulfilment of the Prize.​ Once received, the prize will be sent to the winner. By entering the competition, you expressly consent to the use of your personal data in this way. If you are a winner, you can opt out at the time you are notified by replying to that message.

 

15.   The Promoter does not accept any responsibility of you are not able to take up or accept the prize.

17.   The prize is as stated and there is no cash alternative for the prize.

 

18.   The prize is not negotiable or transferable.

 

19.   Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the whole or part of the prize for an alternative prize or prizes including substituting at its reasonable discretions should circumstances beyond its control arise without giving notice.

 

SOCIAL MEDIA

20.   This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, or any other Social Network. By entering the Giveaway participants agree with these Terms and Conditions and completely and irrevocably release and hold Facebook and Instagram harmless from any liability.

 

DATA PROTECTION

21.   All personal information that We may collect relating to the winner or any other entrants will be collected, used and held in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018 and Your rights under that Act, and in accordance with Our Privacy Policy, a copy of which can be accessed [here].

 

LIABILITY

22.   The Promoter shall not be liable to You for any indirect or consequential costs, claims, actual or alleged losses howsoever arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway and/or Our obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

 

LAW AND JURISTICTION

23.   These Terms and Conditions, any disputes arising out of or in connection with its subject matter, and the relationship between You and Us (whether contractual or otherwise) shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, English law. The parties to this Agreement hereby irrevocably agree that the Courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Agreement.

 

24.   If any provision of this Agreement (or any part of this provision) is found by a court or other authority of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision shall, to the extent required, be deemed not to form part of this agreement, and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of this Agreement shall not be affected.
